Job summary

Volunteer State Community College is seeking an Instructor of Nursing for a 9/10 month term at the VSCC-Springfield Center. The role requires delivering quality instruction in multiple formats including asynchronous online, traditional on-ground, and hybrid.

You will teach 15 credit hours per term, support student learning, and participate in program development, accreditation, advising, and service activities. Start date anticipated January 2027.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing or BSN with MSN in progress.
• Active RN license in Tennessee and CPR for Healthcare Professionals.
• Collegiate-level teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach 15 semester credit hours per term and maintain in-person and virtual office hours.
• Teach 28–32 semester credit hours across Fall and Spring.
• Contribute to program/curriculum development and accreditation efforts.
