Job summary

Jersey College in Tennessee is seeking an experienced Nursing Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction and clinical education to LPN/PN and RN students. Depending on campus needs, instructors may teach in classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical settings.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher, is a licensed RN, and brings at least 3 years of clinical nursing experience plus an interest in student success and professional development.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to teaching nursing courses and clinicals.
• Nursing education experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback; maintain records.
• Collaborate with faculty and clinical partners to support student learning.
• Maintain current knowledge in the nursing specialty and pursue professional development.
