Job summary

San Juan College invites applications for a full-time, nine-month Instructor of Nursing – ADN Pre Licensure Program. The role supports a growing nursing program with a $10,000 annual stipend in addition to base pay.

The successful candidate will teach nursing courses, supervise students in clinicals (including late afternoons and evenings), and participate in curriculum planning and college committees within the School of Health Sciences.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited university program is required.
BSN candidates currently enrolled in graduate coursework may be considered, but a Master's degree must be completed within 5 years from hire date.

Responsibilities

Teach nursing courses and supervise students, including late afternoon and evening clinical experiences.
Conduct pre- and post-clinical conferences and evaluate student progress with written evaluations.
Participate in curriculum planning, college meetings, and college committees.
Maintain posted office hours and substitute as needed.
