Job summary

Midland College is seeking a Part-Time Faculty member for the Associate Degree in Nursing to instruct and supervise nursing students in clinical, lab, and classroom settings. Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in Texas.
• Minimum of three years of varied professional nursing experience.
• Demonstrated current clinical competence and nursing skills.
• Experience providing education or instruction to students, healthcare staff, patients, and/or families.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing is preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Department Chair and program faculty to support course and program goals.
• In team-taught courses, consult with the course instructor to review course expectations and assignments.
• Teach, supervise, and evaluate nursing skills and student performance.
• Facilitate student learning in the simulation laboratory using high-fidelity equipment.
• Assist with preparation, organization, and maintenance of the nursing labs and equipment.
• Attend faculty and program-related meetings and maintain professional competence.
