Northwest Florida State College seeks a dedicated Nursing instructor to deliver full instructional load for fall and spring terms, covering undergraduate classroom and clinical ASN/BSN courses. The role includes curriculum development, adoption of approved materials, and ongoing student support.

The successful candidate will hold an RN license in Florida, have at least two years of clinical experience, and demonstrate strong communication and professional growth.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (must be currently working towards a Master of Science in Nursing degree) or Master of Science in Nursing.
• Active, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Florida (may be a compact license under NLC).
• Two (2) years full time experience in clinical practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Clinical expertise in the assigned instructional area.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Doctorate in Nursing OR EdD with a Master in Nursing (preferred).

Aufgaben

• Fulfill contractual obligations for full instructional load during fall and spring semesters.
• Provide excellence in instruction within the Nursing program for undergraduate students, including classroom and clinical (ASN) and/or online (BSN) courses.
• Assist in development and evaluation of curriculum as appropriate.
• Utilize approved textbook(s) and/or other instructional materials as approved.
• Collaborate with administration, faculty, and staff to ensure student success.
• Provide regular and timely student feedback, guidance, and support.
• Engage in institutional service, professional development, and other duties as assigned by the Nursing Program Director or Chair, the Dean of Health Sciences, Public Safety, and Education, and/or the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
• Attend faculty meetings and participate in department committees.
• Participate in the annual commencement program.
• Complete annual mandatory compliance training.
