Job summary

Jersey College in Tampa, FL is seeking a Nursing Instructor to deliver classroom, laboratory, simulation and clinical instruction for LPN/PN and RN students at the Tampa campus.

The ideal candidate holds a MSN or higher, an active RN license in Florida, and at least 3 years of clinical experience. This on-site role requires strong communication, professional guidance, and commitment to student success; schedule Mondays 5:30-10:00pm, starting November 2026, with pay of $50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or higher required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to the nursing courses and clinical experiences being taught.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN nursing students, as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters students' academic growth and professional development.
• Deliver effective instruction appropriate to the educational level and needs of LPN/PN and RN students.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
