Job summary

North Shore Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Informatics Manager to oversee staff, budget, and project management while coordinating the implementation and ongoing enhancements of clinical applications. The role requires strong collaboration with clinicians to design, test, train, and maintain electronic medical record systems.

You will act as a liaison across nursing, informatics, and IT, ensuring secure, integrated clinical systems that improve outcomes and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health science, computer science, information systems technology, or related discipline is required.
• Current, valid RN license in the state of primary work location.
• Master's degree in business administration or information systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise personnel management, budgeting, project management and work order activities.
• Assist with hiring, time management, productivity, and provide direction to staff.
• Plan, organize and coordinate application support for two or more software applications and coordinate between users, IS/Clinical Informatics, and vendor support.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Health Science / Computer Science / Information Systems Technology (Required)

Registered Nurse licensure in state of primary work location

Master's Degree in Business Administration / Information Systems (Preferred)
