Job summary

CentraCare Health in Minnesota seeks a Supervisor of Clinical Informatics to lead the Informatics team, coordinating projects and ensuring effective use of clinical technology across nursing, operations, and information systems.

The role provides operational oversight, staff support, and collaboration with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to prioritize informatics work, promote standardization, and advance patient safety in clinical workflows.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Minnesota required.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing; Master's in Nursing/Informatics or related programs preferred.
• 5 years clinical and/or operational experience required.
• 3 years informatics experience required.
• Epic system proficiency within 1 year of hire.
• Experience supporting clinical systems, workflow optimization, and stakeholder engagement.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred.
• Experience leading technology implementations and workflow redesign preferred.
• Strong communication, coaching, project coordination, and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Clinical Informatics team with day-to-day leadership, coordination, and supervision.
• Provide operational oversight, staff support, work assignments, and issue resolution.
• Serve as a clinical and technical resource for informatics staff, nursing & operational leaders, providers, and IS teams.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to prioritize informatics work and promote standardization and patient safety across clinical systems.
