Job summary

STGi is seeking a Nursing Home Administrator for a future opening in North Carolina, tied to an active RFP. Licensing as a nursing home administrator and at least two years of supervisory experience are required, along with budgeting and program oversight.

The role emphasizes ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, risk management, and staff supervision in a regulated healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two years of supervisory experience in a hospital or nursing facility.
• Must possess an unencumbered nursing home administrator license or meet NC licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the facility's programs per NC guidelines.
• Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets.
• Ensure residents receive care and services to maintain health and well-being.
• Participate in facility-wide assessment to ensure resources meet needs.
• Provide the State of NC with survey findings, plans of correction, monitoring guidelines and follow-up results.
• Review OSCAR data and quality measures and report discrepancies to state agencies.
• Maintain a safe environment and adequate supervision with risk management.
• Oversee admission, transfer and discharge in accordance with requirements.
• Collaborate with insurer, legal counsel and others on risk management program.
• Ensure HR policies comply with applicable laws and ensure trained staff on duty.
