Job summary

STGi is seeking a Director of Nursing in Black Mountain, NC to lead the nursing services department for a residential health facility.

The role requires an active RN license in North Carolina and at least three years of supervisory experience in a hospital or care facility. The incumbent will develop and maintain a QAPI program, oversee staff development, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with health professionals to support resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current unencumbered RN license in North Carolina.
• Experience supervising nursing staff in a hospital or care facility.
• Experience with rehabilitative nursing practices a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the nursing services department in accordance with rules and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain a QAPI program for nursing services.
• Coordinate resident care with other health professionals and facilities.
• Monitor shifts, medication administration, and treatment schedules.
