Job summary

STGi is seeking candidates for a Nursing Home Administrator position in connection with an active Request for Proposals (RFP). Hiring is contingent upon STGi’s selection as the successful awardee.

The role requires at least two years of supervisory experience in a hospital or nursing facility and a current unencumbered NHA license or NC licensure as applicable. The administrator will direct facility programs, budgets, compliance, and resident care in accordance with state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two (2) years of supervisory experience in a hospital or nursing facility.
• Must possess a current unencumbered nursing home administrator’s license or meet the licensure requirements of the State of North Carolina.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the facility’s programs and activities in accordance with guidelines issued by the State of North Carolina.
• Develop and manage annual operational and capital budgets.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that each resident receives necessary care and services to attain and maintain the highest practical physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.
• Participate in facility-wide assessment to ensure resources are necessary to care for residents.
• Provide the State of North Carolina with information relative to survey findings and follow-up survey results.
• Periodically review OSCAR and quality measures data posted on Nursing Home Compare to ensure public information accuracy.
• Ensure the facility and resident environment remain safe with adequate supervision and assistive devices.
• Provide oversight for admission, transfer and discharge of residents in accordance with requirements.
• Work with insurers, legal counsel and others on risk management program.
• Ensure HR policies comply with government entity laws and that trained staff are on duty.
• Develop and implement employee health and safety programs including OSHA regulations.
• Maintain an infection prevention and control program.
