Job summary
Unitek Learning Education Group Corp. (“Unitek Learning”) seeks an experienced nursing faculty member to join the nursing program. The role includes preparing and evaluating coursework, supervising clinicals, and guiding student learning.
Required: active RN license and 4+ years of nursing practice; Master’s or higher in nursing/education. Training will be provided for classroom teaching and clinical supervision.
Full-time position based in Nevada with comprehensive benefits and tuition support.
Qualifications
- Hold a valid, active license issued by the State Board of Registered Nursing.
- Master of Nursing or higher degree from an accredited college or university.
- At least four years’ experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
- A year of clinical experience within the last five years; clinical teaching counts.
- Expertise in one of nursing areas: Psychiatric, Geriatrics, Med/Surg, Pediatrics, OB-Gyn, Mental Health.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with instructors to prepare, administer, and grade examinations.
- Ensure attendance and keep grades; submit timely.
- Assist with strategic planning and assessment of instructional initiatives.
- Orient new faculty in theory and clinical facilities.
- Utilize teaching methods for adult learners; adapt to online activities.
- Maintain student records and assist with program data collection.
