Unitek Learning is seeking a highly skilled RN to support our BSN program as a faculty member in California. The role involves coordinating examinations, maintaining records, and guiding clinical experiences for nursing students in alignment with program goals.

Qualifications include an active RN license, a Master of Nursing or higher with related coursework, and at least four years of direct patient care. We offer comprehensive benefits and a tuition assistance program.

Formación

• Hold a valid, active license issued by the State Board of Registered Nursing.
• Master of Nursing or higher degree from an accredited college or university that includes coursework in nursing or education, administration (OB, Pediatrics).
• At least four years' experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
• A year of clinical experience within the last five years; clinical teaching counts toward direct patient care.
• Expertise in Medical Surgical nursing.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborates with instructors in preparing, administering, and grading examinations; participates in final evaluations.
• Ensures class attendance and submits grades in a timely manner.
• Assists with strategic planning and assessment of instructional initiatives.
• Plans orientation of new faculty for theory and clinical facilities.
• Uses teaching methods suitable for adult learners and updates instructional quality.
• Improves quality of instruction and integrates online activities where appropriate.
• Maintains student records of attendance, skills check-off forms, and program data.
• Submits required program reports to the Director on time.
• Keeps up with new technologies and safety regulations.
• Participates in nursing program committees and attends faculty meetings.
• Plans and supervises student clinical experiences in health care facilities.
• Evaluates student performance against clinical learning outcomes per policies.
• Provides feedback on clinical performance immediately after observation.
• Maintains clinical attendance records and supports data collection.
• Ensures clinical assignments meet student and facility needs.
• Observes, instructs, and evaluates students with best methods.
• Verifies clinical facilities meet health and safety requirements for students.
• Facilitates ongoing communication with students via office hours and e-communication.
• Participates in student advising activities.
