Job summary

Unitek Learning in Reno, NV seeks a licensed RN with an MSN to join our nursing faculty. You will facilitate learning across clinicals, labs, and simulations, supervise students, and ensure competency attainment per course outlines. The role requires strong communication and ongoing mentoring of students.

You will maintain FERPA-compliant records, participate in faculty development, and coordinate with program leadership to uphold nursing standards and patient safety in clinical settings.

Qualifications

• RN licensure current and unencumbered.
• Master of Science in Nursing degree required.
• Meet BRN faculty requirements in the state of work.
• Experience demonstrating nursing practice knowledge and ability to mentor students.
• Educational methodology knowledge related to teaching assignments or distance education techniques.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate instruction and evaluate student learning across clinicals, labs, and simulations.
• Supervise, debrief, and evaluate students in labs and clinical settings.
• Maintain attendance records and FERPA-compliant records.
• Plan and supervise student clinical experiences in health facilities.
• Collaborate with instructors to prepare exams and final course evaluations.
