Unitek Learning seeks experienced nursing faculty to help educate the next generation of nurses across its colleges. The position emphasizes collaborative teaching, course preparation, and administering exams to ensure comprehension and excellence in nursing practice.

Responsibilities include coordinating attendance and grades, orienting new faculty, guiding clinical experiences, maintaining accurate student records, and participating in program assessment.

Qualifications

• No previous teaching experience is required; Faculty Development training helps you succeed.
• Hold a valid, active RN license issued by the State Board of Nursing.
• Master of Nursing or higher with relevant coursework in education or administration.
• At least four years’ direct patient care experience as an RN.
• Recent clinical experience within the last five years; CCR-1420(c) competence.
• Expertise in one or more nursing areas (e.g., OB, Pediatrics, Med/Surg, Geriatrics).

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with instructors to prepare, administer, and grade exams.
• Ensure attendance, recordkeeping, and timely submission of grades.
• Assist with program assessment and orientation of new faculty.
• Plan clinical experiences and supervise student placements.
• Maintain records of attendance, skills checks, and program data.
• Keep current with safety regulations and evolving technologies.
