Qualifications

• No previous teaching experience is required; Faculty Development supports success.
• Must hold a valid, active RN license issued by the State Board.
• Master of Nursing or higher with relevant coursework in nursing or education.
• At least four years of direct patient care as an RN.
• Clinical experience within the last five years; additional teaching experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with instructors in preparing, administering, and grading exams.
• Maintains attendance records and submits grades.
• Assists with orientation of new faculty to theory and clinical facilities.
• Applies adult learning principles to instructional activities.
• Plans and supervises student clinical experiences in health care facilities.
• Evaluates student performance against learning outcomes and CCR policies.
• Provides timely feedback after clinical observations and maintains student data.
