Job summary
Unitek College Of Nursing is seeking a Full-time AM/PM Vocational Nursing Instructor to join our program. Teaching in the classroom, labs and clinicals may be included, with a 10% differential for evening and weekend shifts.
Qualifications include an active RN or LVN license in the state, 3 years bedside experience with a Bachelor's degree or 6 years with an Associate degree, and current immunizations/BLS. Clinicals occur off-site at partner facilities.
Qualifications
- Active RN or LVN license in the state of application.
- 3 years bedside experience with a Bachelor's degree or 6 years with an Associate degree.
- Meets faculty requirements set by the Board of Vocational Nursing.
- Experience mentoring students in classroom, lab and clinical settings.
- Current immunizations and Basic Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
- Teach in classroom, labs and clinicals as assigned.
- Deliver instruction with AM/PM shifts and respond to program needs.
- Update and maintain student records, attendance, grades and skills check-offs.
- Assist with syllabus review and revision and submit required reports.
- Participate in professional development and college committees as needed.
