Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Minimum two years of supervision experience in a long-term care facility.
• Has a 24-hour continuing education course in planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs in nursing.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Possess mental and physical health.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate theoretical and clinical orientation to all new employees.
• Provide and coordinate mandatory in-services to all facility employees.
• Maintain annual 24-hour nursing education requirements for staff.
• Develop yearly in-service education calendar and schedule.
