Job summary

The University of Utah Health seeks an experienced NPD Practitioner (registered nurse) to lead and coordinate clinical staff education. You will partner with the Clinical Staff Education department to assess needs, design education, and maintain records while promoting lifelong learning in a 24/7 health system.

You will support interprofessional education, role development, and evidence-based practice for nurses and health care teams across departments, with flexible shifts and a focus on

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Nursing.
• Two years of nursing experience.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Utah, or obtain one within 90 days of hire under the interstate compact.
• Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Use educational design process to bridge gaps identified through needs assessment.
• Support unit/department education programs and initiatives.
• Support transformation of processes and sustain change.
• Advance the profession by supporting professional development and lifelong learning.
• Model behavioral standards that advance interprofessional practice and nursing education.
• Disseminate new knowledge and evidence to advance NPD practice.
• Support nursing professional development as a nursing practice specialty.
• Facilitate transitions of nurses and health care team members across learning environments.
• Work rotating schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
