Job summary

Jersey College seeks a Nursing Instructor at the Brooksville campus to deliver high-quality classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical instruction for LPN/PN and RN students. The successful candidate will evaluate student performance, guide skill development, and foster a supportive learning environment.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher nursing degree and an active RN license with at least 3 years of recent clinical experience.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to the nursing courses and clinical experiences being taught.
• Knowledgeable in nursing specialty to support student learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a supportive learning environment and evaluate student performance and competency.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance records and progress reports.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, clinical partners, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain current knowledge and expertise within the nursing specialty and clinical practice.
