Apploi is seeking a Director of Nursing to plan, organize, and direct the Nursing Department to meet federal, state, and local standards. The role ensures high-quality resident care and compliance with applicable guidelines under the direction of the Administrator and Medical Director.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, ensuring adequate staffing, supporting QA and survey readiness, and leading staff development.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related health care setting.
• Current RN license.
• CPR certification required.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Teamwork and leadership abilities.

Mansioni

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department and its programs.
• Maintain an ongoing quality assurance program and participate in regulatory surveys.
• Ensure appropriate staffing and assignments for each shift to maintain care quality.
• Assist HR in annual performance evaluations and disciplinary actions where needed.
• Support infection control, TB management, and safety program compliance.
• Monitor nursing notes, medication passes, and care plans for accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate continuing education and in-service training for nursing staff.
