Job summary

Arcadia Care seeks a Director of Nursing to lead the nursing department, ensuring quality care in compliance with federal, state, and local standards. The role reports to the Administrator and Medical Director, guiding policies and daily operations.

The incumbent will supervise nursing staff, coordinate with QA and infection control, and assist with MDS/Care Plan processes while maintaining resident-focused care and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related health care facility.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license current and unencumbered.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Demonstrates teamwork and the ability to coordinate with staff and management.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct the nursing service department and its programs.
• Develop and update policies and procedures for daily operations.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Support HR in performance evaluations and disciplinary documentation.
• Assist with infection control and TB management for employees.
