Apploi is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead the Nursing Services department, ensuring compliant operations and high-quality resident care. The role reports to the Administrator and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to maintain staffing, policy adherence, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include planning, directing, and evaluating nursing services, participating in management meetings, and overseeing recruitment and training to ensure compassionate, safe resident care.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN license (RN) in California.
• Minimum of three years as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing home, or related health care facility.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices, procedures, and regulatory guidelines for long-term care.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates and directs the Nursing Services department in compliance with state and federal laws and facility policies.
• Interprets and communicates policies to nursing staff and monitors practices.
• Participates in admission decisions and management meetings.
• Evaluates staff performance and applies discipline per policies.
• Participates in QAPI or performance improvement activities and committees.
• Oversees staff scheduling, recruitment, hiring and terminations.
• Maintains infection control standards and budget considerations.
• Coordinates with interdisciplinary team to improve quality of services.
• Performs rounds to observe residents and ensure nursing needs are met.
• Promotes teamwork and safe work practices.
