Qualifikationen
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Nursing or related field.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Valid, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
- CPR Certification.
Aufgaben
- Plans, directs, and supervises nursing staff.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Develop, implement and update department policy and procedures.
- Responsible for staffing to meet guest needs and regulatory requirements.
- Participates in Federal, State and Local agency annual surveys.
- Review deficiencies noted by government agencies during inspections.
- Operating the Nursing Department within budgetary guidelines.
- Completes annual performance reviews and provides coaching to staff.
- Train and educate staff; enforce infection control and safety practices.
- Lead QAPI initiatives and collaborate with leadership for performance improvement.
