Job summary

Reliant Management seeks a dynamic Director of Nursing to lead the clinical team and oversee the Nursing Service Department in compliance with federal, state, and local standards. You will plan, organize, and direct overall operations to ensure exceptional resident care.

Responsibilities include hiring, training, care coordination, admission assessments, staffing plans, regulatory compliance, budget involvement, and collaboration with the executive team to enhance residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• 2 years of DON experience in a California Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Unrestricted RN license in the state of California.
• Must be able to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
• Coordinate care and services to improve plans of care and quality of life for all residents.
• Ensure proper assessment of prospective residents prior to admission.
• Develop staffing plans to assure sufficient staffing for direct care needs and compliance.
• Provide on-call nursing administration coverage.
