Job summary

Cottage Grove Place in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, seeks a dedicated Director of Nursing to lead all nursing functions within the Health Center and ensure high-quality, resident-centered care.

The DON will drive QAPI initiatives, oversee Infection Prevention and Control, and coordinate staffing levels to meet regulatory standards, while collaborating with the Medical Director and Administrator to uphold excellence.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license and active CPR certification.
• Minimum two years' experience in geriatric nursing.
• Leadership experience in nursing administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct, develop, organize, and oversee all nursing and resident care services within the Health Center.
• Lead and participate in the QAPI program to drive quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee Infection Prevention and Control program and coordinate staffing plans for licensed nurses and CNAs.
• Ensure timely communication of significant changes in residents’ clinical conditions to families, physicians, and regulators.
