This role ensures 24-hour supervision, directs the Nursing Department, and upholds quality care within federal, state, and company guidelines.

The position emphasizes coordination of total care plans, policy interpretation to staff, involvement in admissions, and active participation in management discussions.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Associates or Bachelors degree in nursing from an accredited school.
• Minimum 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total care plans for residents in line with physician orders and regulations.
• Communicate policies to nursing staff and monitor practices.
• Participate in admissions decisions and visit prospective residents.
• Attend daily and weekly management meetings to discuss resident status, census changes, personnel, or concerns.
• Other duties may be assigned at any time.
