Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead and manage Nursing Services, ensuring care aligns with physician orders and regulatory standards.

The role provides 24-hour supervision, guides the Nursing Department, and maintains quality of care while ensuring compliant operations under state Nurse Practice Act. In the absence of the Administrator, the RN will assume center operations and oversee admissions decisions and care planning.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an RN in the state practiced.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited nursing school required.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; at least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates plans for total care of each resident in line with physician orders and policies.
• Communicates and interprets policies to nursing staff and monitors practice.
• Participates in admissions decisions and may visit prospective residents before admissions.
• Attends daily/weekly management meetings to discuss status, census changes, personnel, or concerns.
• Other duties may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
