Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services in Winston-Salem is seeking an experienced Scheduler for the Nursing Department. You will develop and maintain staff schedules, adjusting in real-time to census changes and ensuring shifts are adequately staffed. You will coordinate vacation/holiday coverage, communicate changes, and ensure schedules are posted promptly.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software is required; healthcare scheduling experience is preferred. EOE.

Formación

• High school graduate with office/clerical experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
• Two years of experience in healthcare scheduling preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to healthcare staffing.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain staff schedules for the nursing department, adjusting in real-time to census changes.
• Monitor staffing levels and manage staffing shortages.
• Coordinate scheduling coverage for vacations, holidays, and sick leave.
• Communicate with nursing staff regarding schedule changes and post schedules promptly.
• Ensure scheduling complies with company policies and regulations.
• Manage attendance records, PTO and sick time.
• Schedule new employee training and ensure agency staff orientation.
• Complete IT tickets for agency access to payroll and EMR systems.
• Collaborate with HR to keep trainings and certifications current.
• Participate in daily/weekly/monthly meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
