Liberty Health is seeking an experienced Transportation Scheduling Coordinator in Wilmington, NC. You will schedule residents’ transport, use management software to dispatch trips, and monitor real-time vehicle status to uphold on-time performance.

You will optimize routes, adjust for cancellations, and maintain logs and maintenance schedules. Collaboration with facilities, families, and providers is essential for safe, timely service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age and of good character.
• CPR, First Aid and wheelchair safety training required; one of the listed certifications preferred.
• Valid state Driver’s License and clean driving record required.
• Ability to plan, organize, and follow up on tasks.
• Ability to make independent decisions and work under pressure.
• Willingness to collaborate with multiple departments and care partners.

Responsabilités

• Schedule appointments for residents/patients/clients after facility staff notification.
• Utilize transportation management software to schedule, assign, and dispatch trips in real time.
• Monitor live vehicle locations and driver status to ensure on-time performance.
• Optimize routes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Adjust schedules for cancellations and urgent add-ons.
• Serve as primary contact for drivers during transports.
• Maintain a calendar of all appointments to avoid conflicts.
• Follow safety guidelines for resident transports.
• Maintain transport logs and vehicle maintenance schedules.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly transportation reports.
• Track KPIs such as on-time performance and trip volume.
• Provide route briefings and updates; onboard drivers on procedures.
