Job summary

Jersey College seeks a Clinical Site Liaison (RN) to manage practicum experiences for PN and RN programs, overseeing relationships with clinical facilities and coordinating schedules. The role requires an active RN license and BSN or higher degree, with experience in leadership or education highly valued.

You will build and maintain partnerships with CNOs and DONs, coordinate observational visits, and support faculty, students, and preceptors throughout clinical rotations to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Current, active, unrestricted RN license required.
• BSN or higher degree in nursing required.
• Previous supervisory, leadership, educational, or other relevant professional experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Professional, outgoing, approachable, and passionate about helping others succeed.
• Exceptional listening, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
• Preferred: experience in nursing education or clinical education.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop clinical relationships with CNOs, Directors of Nursing, and other healthcare administrators.
• Secure new clinical sites to support student learning experiences.
• Oversee and coordinate clinical experiences for PN and RN students.
• Schedule relief coverage for clinical instructors in coordination with Program Chairs.
• Conduct observational visits to clinical sites to ensure high-quality learning experiences.
• Develop orientation programs for clinical faculty, students, and clinical facilities regarding practicum policies and procedures.
• Mentor new clinical instructors during their first clinical rotation.
• Conduct debriefings with preceptors before and throughout clinical experiences.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the college and clinical facilities.
• Audit and verify student medical and compliance documents.
