Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital in Chicago, IL is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator for the Nursing Department. You will coordinate and execute clinical staffing schedules and provide clerical support to the Director of Nursing.

This on-site role manages employee records, payroll duties, and helps maintain performance evaluations, keys, manuals, and supplies. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills and office experience in healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent; associate/bachelor's preferred.
• Work Experience: background in clinical staffing and healthcare staff scheduling preferred.
• Knowledge: strong office systems, organization and communication with hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute clinical staff scheduling for the Nursing Department.
• Provide clerical support to the Director of Nursing.
• Prepare and distribute staffing schedules; manage employee records and payroll duties.
• Track performance evaluations, maintain keys and manuals, coordinate outside consultations.
• Support House Physicians and manage on-site office and supply areas.
