Job summary

Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to provide administrative and clinical supervision of all nursing staff, ensuring a safe, therapeutic milieu and coordinating care within a multidisciplinary team.

The role oversees 24-hour unit responsibility, supports treatment planning meetings, mentors staff, and promotes evidence-based practices for pediatric and adolescent populations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program; BSN/MSN preferred.
• Three years clinical psychiatric nursing experience and 2 years in management preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience with the age population served by the units.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clinical supervision of nursing staff.
• Maintain 24-hour responsibility for the unit to ensure quality care.
• Ensure a safe, therapeutic milieu and coordinate plan of care at multidisciplinary rounds.
• Participate in treatment plan meetings and supervise line staff.
