Job summary

Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital in Chicago seeks a full-time Staffing Coordinator for the Nursing Department. You will coordinate and execute clinical staff scheduling, prep payroll-related tasks, and provide clerical support to the Director of Nursing.

The role requires strong organization and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced hospital setting. On-site day shift with flexible hours; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and career development opportunities

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; associates or bachelor's preferred.
• Strong preference for candidates with clinical staffing and healthcare scheduling background.
• Good knowledge of general office systems and organizational skills; word processing required.
• Ability to communicate with hospital staff, physicians, and referrals; multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute the nursing department staffing schedules.
• Prepare and distribute staff schedules and manage payroll duties.
• Track evaluations, maintain department keys and manuals, and coordinate outside consultations.
• Provide clerical support to House Physicians and manage office supplies.
