Job summary

Stanbridge University seeks a Vocational Nursing Clinical Coordinator to oversee clinical partnerships, faculty performance, and student clinical experiences. The role balances external collaboration with instructional alignment and includes teaching responsibilities to maintain program integrity.

Responsibilities include site development, faculty coaching, student placement oversight, and ensuring compliance with BVNPT standards.

Qualifications

• Current and active California license as an RN or LVN.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of four (4) years of clinical nursing experience within the past five (5) years.
• Experience in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, or comparable patient care settings.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage clinical partnerships with hospitals, SNFs, and other settings.
• Oversee clinical faculty performance and ensure instructional alignment with BVNPT standards.
• Oversee student clinical placements and competency progression.
• Provide clinical coverage and teach one clinical assignment per term.
• Ensure compliance documentation (e.g., immunizations, Complio) is current and audit-ready.
• Prepare regular reports to leadership on site, faculty, and student outcomes.
