Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Territory Sales Representative for Nursing Care products to drive growth in Central California, covering Bakersfield, Fresno, Ventura, Oxnard and Salinas. You will use practical, solution-based selling to reach hospital decision-makers, negotiate pricing, and differentiate our nursing care portfolio.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong sales experience, regional travel up to 50%, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Previous experience in a sales function preferred (B2B or Inside Sales).
• Proven track record of success in sales achievement with experience in multilevel account management.
• Strong computer acumen and business application.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellence in process management and organizational agility.
• A valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 States with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel within region up to 50%.
• Customer/Vendor credentialing is required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize selling strategies to exceed territory sales targets and create SMART Territory Sales Plans.
• Master features and value of the nursing care portfolio and present to clinical/economic stakeholders.
• Present proposals, negotiate pricing, and differentiate Cardinal Health’s nursing care offerings.
• Collaborate with supply chain sales and strategic accounts teams to drive revenue.
• Build consultative relationships with clinicians, supply chain partners, and end users.
• Maintain active presence at top accounts and conduct in‑service demonstrations in-person or remotely.
• Stay informed on industry landscape, including GPOs and reimbursements.
• Manage inventory and adjust portfolio allocations to sustain sales across accounts.
• Use sales tools to address trends, create call strategies, and manage plans.
• Complete administrative tasks (expenses, compliance, Salesforce).
• Attend meetings and travel as required; credentialing and training as needed.
