Job summary

Sanford Health is hiring a Nursing Assistant Trainee at Good Samaritan Pine River. You will join a learning experience to provide personal care under a licensed nurse, with a hybrid training format combining online modules and hands-on skills.

The program leads to CNA or other state certification, with paid training and pathway to CNA roles. Shifts include days and evenings, with every other weekend/holiday required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long‑term care preferred.
• CNA license required within four months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients under supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding).
• Take and document basic health data (vital signs as assigned).
• Follow care plans and report changes to a licensed nurse.
• May assist with transfers, mobility, and housekeeping tasks as assigned.
