Job summary

Qualifications

- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- CNA license required within four months of employment.
- Depending on state, may need UAP Registry registration.
Responsibilities
- Enrolled in a formal nursing assistant program and must complete training within the designated timeframe.
- Assist with basic health care needs and activities of daily living as assigned.
- Work under supervision of a licensed nurse with a preceptor.
- Document client care and communicate changes to a licensed nurse.
- Assist with transferring, positioning, meals, hygiene, and mobility as directed.
