Job summary

Sanford Health, the nation’s largest rural health system, is hiring Nursing Assistant Trainees at Good Samaritan St James. You will enter a formal CNA training program, gain hands-on experience under a licensed nurse, and work toward state certification.

The role combines classroom and hands-on skills in a hybrid delivery, with paid training, daily access to earnings, and path to CNA after certification. Must be 16+, high school diploma preferred, and drivers license may be required depending on

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred but not required.
• CNA license required within four months of employment.
• For applicable states, registered with the UAP Registry if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic care including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing and feeding.
• Assist with transfers, range of motion, and mobility under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Document client care and communicate changes to the nursing team.
• Work within infection prevention and location standards and follow care plans.
