Job summary

Regency Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to join our care team in Oregon, OH on a PRN/Per Diem Night Shift with 12-hour shifts. Compensation starts at $22.00 per hour, with additional shift differentials for nights and weekends.

The position requires flexibility to cover shifts at Sylvania and Oregon locations as needed. As part of a critical illness recovery hospital, you will support post-ICU patients and help maintain a compassionate care environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or 3+ years relevant work experience
• Hospital experience as NA/CNA or medical assistant
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide patient bathing, oral care, feeding and hair care
• Perform hourly rounds with attention to safety
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with moving wheelchairs/stretchers
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment
• Keep patient rooms clean and organized
• Monitor stock levels of supplies and equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
