Job summary

Regency Hospital in Cleveland East, Warrensville Heights is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for PRN/Per Diem shifts, days or nights. Compensation is $22 per hour. This critical illness recovery hospital provides compassionate, high-quality post-ICU care to seriously ill patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED or 3+ years relevant work experience.
• Nursing assistant experience in a hospital setting preferred; CNA certification or related field experience.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds and assist transporters with patient movement.
• Maintain cleanliness of rooms, instruments, and equipment; manage supplies per directive.

Schedule: PRN/Per Diem, Days (7am -7pm) or Nights (7pm-7am)

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
