Job summary

Regency Hospital in Oregon, OH is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for PRN/Per Diem Night shifts, with 12-hour shifts. Compensation is $22.00 per hour, plus shift differentials for nights and weekends. You must be able to pick up shifts at Sylvania and Oregon locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years relevant work experience.
• Hospital experience as nursing assistant or CNA certification required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less bath products and assisting with oral hygiene and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds and monitor patient needs.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers and assist riders in moving patients in/out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly; restock supplies as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
