Select Specialty Hospital - Columbus - Vic Village is seeking a Nursing Assistant for per diem shifts with 12‑hour days and nights. The role offers an extensive orientation program and opportunities for advancement, with part-time/per diem positions eligible for 401k after 1,000 hours within the first anniversary.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience (3+ years).
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant or CNA certification or related healthcare experience required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform services for patients including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Formation

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
