Select Specialty Hospital - Columbus - Vic Village is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide compassionate patient care on a per diem basis. The role offers 12-hour shifts with days and nights available.

Responsibilities include bathing patients, hourly rounds, transporting patients as needed, and maintaining cleanliness of rooms and equipment. Minimum qualifications include a HS diploma/GED (or 3+ years experience), CNA or related certification, and BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant or CNA certification or related field experience.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assist with bathing patients using basin-less methods and provide oral hygiene.
• Perform hourly rounds and assist transporters with moving patients.
• Keep patient rooms clean and stocked with supplies; maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Support care activities and perform other duties as assigned.

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
