Job summary

Regency Hospital seeks a Nursing Assistant (NA) for PRN/per diem night shifts in Sylvania, OH. You will provide essential patient care, including bathing, oral hygiene and helping with meals, while maintaining clean rooms and assisting with mobility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Position: Nursing Assistant (NA)

Location: Sylvania, OH

Schedule: PRN/Per Diem Night Shift, 12-hour shifts

Compensation: $22.00 per hour, plus shift differentials for nights and weekends

• This position requires the ability to pick up shifts at both our Sylvania and Oregon locations, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
