Select Specialty Hospital - Harrisburg in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the 7 pm–7 am night shift. The role offers full-time status with a $3,000 sign-on bonus and hourly compensation between $19.70 and $24.00.

Responsibilities include patient bathing, rounds, transport, and maintaining clean, well-stocked units. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with BLS due within 90 days. Hospital experience and CNA options are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less methods and providing oral care.

• Maintain cleanliness of rooms and equipment; restock supplies.
• Support other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)

• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
