Compensation: $18.05 to $22.00 per hour

Position: Nursing Assistant (NA)

Responsibilities

• Start Strong: participate in an extensive orientation program to ensure a smooth transition into our setting.
• Assist with nursing care duties as directed, including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and hair care for patients.
• Participate in hourly rounds and monitor patient conditions as assigned.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients using stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (e.g., bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patients’ rooms clean and orderly and maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field (e.g., medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
