Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Camp Hill is looking for a Nursing Assistant to join our 7a-7p full-time team. The role offers a $19.70-$24.00 per hour compensation with a $3,000 sign-on bonus and includes support for orientation, training, and career growth within a nationally recognized post-ICU recovery setting.

As a NA, you will assist with bathing, feeding, oral hygiene, rounds, patient transport, and equipment cleanliness while maintaining clean, stocked rooms and contributing to patient comfort

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years relevant work experience.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient bathing using basin-less techniques and assist with oral hygiene.
• Assist with feeding, hair care, and daily hygiene tasks.
• Participate in hourly rounds and transport patients as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, equipment and stock levels.
• Support other duties as assigned by the nurse manager.

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
