Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less bath products and performing basic grooming tasks
• Assist with oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care
• Participate in hourly rounds to monitor patient needs
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers and assist with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments/equipment such as bedpans and wheelchairs
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly and monitor stock levels of supplies

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
