Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED or higher.
• Active NAI licensure listing with NC DHHS is required.
• Active NAII licensure with NC Board of Nursing is required.
• Current HeartSaver or higher certification is required.
• De-escalation training required or completed within 90 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Participates in quality improvement activities and data collection.
• Attends staff development programs and orients new staff.
• Follows hospital policies and maintains licensure status.
• Builds teamwork and communicates effectively with care team.
• Contributes to unit goals and cost-effective use of equipment.
• Under supervision, assists in direct patient care and delegated tasks.
• May perform EKGs, Phlebotomy, venipuncture, admission, transport and discharge assistance.
• Monitors patient status and communicates signs of risk to the nurse.
• Documents accurately in established workflows.
